7/28-29/2020 – Supporting Teachers in Our Community
As schools prepare to begin the new school year in a way that no one could have imagined, we wanted to give area teachers a few items to help them start strong. Volunteers from our Cascade Kids Preschool ministry recently helped prepare supply bags with masks, pens, hand sanitizer, and gloves and delivered them to six area elementary schools. Our hope is that each time one of these items is used, teachers will be reminded that Cascade Hills Church loves them and is praying for them.
7/18-25/2020 – Serving our Heroes
Our VIP team once again served House of Heroes, an organization within our community who honor military veterans and their families. One of the ways they accomplish this is by helping to improve the living conditions of Veterans homes throughout the local area. Picking up on this need, our VIP volunteers served by repainting, repairing, and helping to clean up these veterans’ homes. Through your giving at the Nights of Worship, Cascade Hills was also able to make a $5,000 donation to the House of Heroes to help them further their mission.
