Meet Trey | Student Ministry Director

Trey Douglas has been a member of Cascade Hills Church for over 25 years. Before joining our staff, he served as an usher and was a member of our worship team. Trey and his wife, Kim, were married here at Cascade Hills in 1997. They have a wonderful family: their daughter Carley and her husband Hunter, as well as Garrett and Parker. Trey joined our staff as the Middle School Pastor in 2011 and grew his ministry for almost 13 years. In 2024, Trey became the Student Ministry Director, where he now oversees our Middle School, High School, and Young Adults Ministries, guiding the leaders in all three departments. His high energy and great heart help make these three ministries the best they can be.

Meet Zoe | LIV Culture Coordinator

Zoe Cockrell has been a member of Cascade Hills Church since 2018. She started as a junior in
high school, actively participating in our Student Ministry. Zoe joined the staff in 2022 as the
Student Ministry Assistant, serving as both the High School Assistant and Student Ministry
Director’s Assistant. Through these roles, she discovered her passion for walking alongside
people as they step into what God has called them to do, while also investing in the culture,
relationships, and people around her.

Full of energy and creativity, Zoe loves connecting with students and sharing the love of Jesus in meaningful ways. She and her husband, Clayton, who is now the Middle School Pastor, share a heart for this generation of now and for helping others grow in their faith.

Meet Ashton | LIV Executive Assistant

Ashton has had a lifelong passion for ministry, growing up serving and volunteering in
the church. She earned her degree in Applied Ministry from Point University and is dedicated to
supporting students at every stage. Ashton began part-time as our Middle School Ministry
Assistant, but her gift for organizational leadership, excellence, and administrative oversight
quickly became evident. Her skills and heart for serving have now expanded her role to full-time,
supporting all three of our ministries — from Middle School to Young Adult.

Ashton has a deep love for God and a heart for our Student Ministry staff team. She excels at
keeping things organized, ensuring the ministry runs smoothly, and helping others step into what
God has called them to do.

Meet Gavin | LIV Ministry Support

Gavin has been a part of Cascade Hills Church since he was five, growing up through
every ministry from Kids to Young Adults. His passion for ministry grew in the Young Adult
Ministry, where he stepped into a leadership role as a volunteer and felt God calling him to
ministry, confirmed by the Young Adult Pastor.

He then joined the Student Ministry team as a high-level volunteer, and his dedication, hard
work, and heart for people led him to his current role as LIV Student Ministry Support. Gavin
oversees pastoral support, small group oversight, and helps ensure the ministry runs
smoothly—he is excellent at what he does and a person you can’t help but get to know and
love. He is also pursuing a Marketing degree at Columbus State University and plans to
continue his education with seminary.
