Led by Campus Pastor Ethan Hall, Cascade Hills Uptown offers the same welcoming spirit, dynamic worship, and life-changing biblical teaching you’ve come to expect, but now in a location that’s more accessible to Uptown Columbus, Phenix City, and surrounding areas.

Meet Pastor Ethan Hall
For most of his life, Ethan Hall has performed as an actor, singer and dancer. He holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Columbus State University, and spent many years performing in various venues and shows around the country. During a production of Disney’s Newsies at the Springer Opera House, Ethan fell in love with his stage partner Victoria, and the two got married with the dream of conquering Broadway in New York City.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, the performance industry was put completely on pause. In the silence, Ethan and Victoria heard God calling them to a career change: full-time ministry.
Ethan joined the team at Cascade Hills as the Online Pastor, and Victoria came on as the Outreach Coordinator. Shortly thereafter, Ethan felt God prompting him to go to seminary. In May of 2023, he graduated with an MA in Apologetics from Luther Rice College & Seminary.
Ethan and Victoria now have a son, Theodore, and they look forward to sharing their love for Jesus Christ with the very community they were a part of in their performing days: Uptown Columbus.

Visiting a new church can feel overwhelming, but at Cascade Hills Uptown, we want you to feel right at home. From the moment you arrive, our team is ready to welcome you with a friendly smile, answer any questions, and help guide you through your experience.

First-Time Guest Experience
We can’t wait to welcome you to Cascade Hills Uptown! As a first-time guest, you’ll be greeted by our VIP Team at the First-Time Guest podium near the entrance. They’ll introduce you to a personal guide, help with Cascade Kids check-in, and give you a quick tour so you feel right at home. After the service, stop by the VIP area in the Foyer to receive a special gift… we’d love to meet you!
Cascade Kids (Birth – 5th Grade)
We believe kids should love coming to church! In Cascade Kids, your child will experience a safe, fun, and interactive environment where they’ll learn about Jesus in a way that’s designed just for them. Our trained team provides engaging Bible-driven lessons, exciting activities, and a space where kids can grow in their faith while having a great time.

Our services are designed to be engaging, inspiring, and relevant to your life. Each service lasts about 60 minutes and includes dynamic worship led by our talented team, followed by a practical, Bible-based message from Pastor Brent Purvis or one of our teaching pastors. After the Service
We’d love to connect with you after the service!
