Baptism
What is baptism?
Baptism is an important next step after receiving Jesus. It is an outward expression of the inward decision you have made to place your faith in Christ.
In simple terms, baptism is much like a wedding band. A wedding band does not make someone married; it shows others that they are married. In the same way, baptism does not save you. It is a public declaration that you belong to Jesus and have chosen to follow Him.
Baptism is also an act of obedience. Jesus instructed His followers to be baptized as a visible expression of their faith in Matthew 28:19.
