Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

KidzWorld (Nursery)

We believe that children are a gift from God and should be handled with love and care. God has appointed parents as the primary religious instructors of their children and the role of the church is to assist in the cooperative effort of that task. Successful ministry is the shared responsibility of parents, ministry staff, volunteers, and the church body.

One of the goals of Kidz World is to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment for children in our care. In an effort to accomplish this, we have several security measures in place to protect the children, their parents and the church. We highly encourage parents and guardians to become familiar with these policies and procedures. For a complete copy of our policies and procedures, please contact our Nursery/Preschool Director, Shenita Hodge by email or call 706-327-5743.

Security Check-In/Out System

Check-InYour child’s safety is one of our top priorities. We utilize the Fellowship One software as a major part of our security system.

In an effort to increase the level of security provided for preschool children while at church, we have installed a security camera in each preschool room.

Baby Dedications

Baby DedicationThe practice of dedicating a baby is derived from the example of Hannah in Scripture as she dedicated her child back into God’s care for his life. It was a public recognition that God, the giver of life, was being honored in a gracious manner for His gift to her.

Our Baby Dedication service is a private service for families and close friends and takes place AFTER a specifically designated Saturday night service. Each couple is invited to bring their child (age 3 or younger) before the pastor, family and friends in an intimate setting in dedication to God. They are reminded of the Biblical pattern of our Judeo-Christian teachings that parents provide Biblical guidance to their children.

Volunteer Opportunities

NurseryWe ask that all parents of children in our Preschool area serve at least 1-hour per month in the Nursery/Preschool area. This can be either on Saturday nights or Sunday mornings. In addition to helping to provide adequate care for our children, this also allows parents to be involved in this important aspect of their child’s life.
